ANTHRAX REUNION BASHING CLUB

I’m not a fan of the RBC but I do agree with it existing. If nothing else it gives ppl (i.e. the band) an idea where the fans heads are at. I had a good look through it before I made an opinion about it (something certain ppl should do), and saw there was a lot of positive stuff in there, not just bashing the current line up. If that’s what ppl want to do, then good luck to them. At least its still supporting Anthrax in one-way or another. Any publicity is good publicity after all.
Now that’s out the way, its time for a rant.
What about Dan, Joey, and Frank in all this. While everyone is bashing the reunion, these guys seem to be really getting the brunt of all the flaming. Think about it without them there would be no reunion. Think how they feel when they see all that stuff bashing what they are doing. It don’t mater if you like them or not, you have to agree they are great musicians and are doing a great job on this tour. They should be praised not flamed for getting up there night after night knowing all this shits being said about the tour and the future of the band.

I'm not a fan of the RBC at all. It reminds me of 12 year old girls crying 'cause their fav member of their fav boyband left. Imo some people just don't get it, that just because they supported the band, the band dosen't owe them shit. It's like if the band releases an album, and you hear it, don't like it, and don't buy it, and the band bitches and moans demanding why you personally didn't like/buy it. You don't owe an explination to the band, just because you bought/liked some of their older work!

asolute pish. maybe longest serving but that has nothing to do with it. Joey sang on better songs and defined Anthrax's sound. cmon listen to stomp its like a grunge album

Its the way Bush/Rob and the fans appear to have been treated. Anthrax havnt beeen straight with anyone and judging by the contradicting comments in all the press/websites/forums by the guys themselves who can blame people for being confused

While Charlie is talking about Kiss reunion, there is a Kisstory lesson: After a reunion album which hasn't sold shit (and in fact, I quite like it) both the reunited members were fired and Kiss have become a total joke by hiring the pre-reunion drummer again while he has to pretend he's the reunion drummer and a reunion guitarist was replaced by some unknown guitar tech who sort of pretends he's the original guitarist.

Again, jesus fucking christ how many times does this have to said, why have a reunion after everything they've said over the years, and why haven't they been upfront about what's going on with John? Blah blah blah. Those of you who are so hostile to the mere existence of RBC, you have to realise that there are some of us here who FUCKING LIKE the John Bush material and are NOT fucking happy to see that just fucking DUMPED IN THE GUTTER. Fuck me I'm tired of this.

From my fucking perspective I don't see Joey being able to sing well enough to front Anthrax. Whatever.

I saw him in England this year, and believe me, he sings better than he ever did. I like John Bush, and he was a great showman live, but he did hit more flats than a german bomber in world war 2 in the live setting. Joeys voice is right on key every time...

I think he can nail John era material without too much problem, but ideally, I'd like to see them both perform together. Isn't life too short for this bullshit ?

I'm agree with you, because John got something that a lot of people dont have, and it's balls and a self esteem. I dont think he will come back, its why, Anthrax will continue with this lineup.
Poor Joey, he WIN the job by default.
