Amorphis and Kiuas are two solid, awesome bands. I don't understand why some people don't like them.

I know, but you recommend them in fucking everything. And this is coming from me, who recommends the same 5 or 6 albums in every thread.

Yeah, I tend to mention a lot of the same stuff also.

Yeah, I know. I'm always aware of how often I mention Kiuas (I don't mention Amorphis as much), but they're one of my favorite metal bands, and maybe my favorite power metal band. So when people ask for power metal, it just makes sense to recommend them.

And OCI: I know what you mean, I just don't hear it. To me, Kiuas is one of the more real-sounding extreme power metal bands out there. I think the emotion bleeds through, especially in Ilja's vocals. They're a band who loves doing what they're doing. I think they're way more interesting than Iced Earth (chill out, ml ). But everyone has their own opinion.

That Death Angel album (Act III) is pretty mediocre progressive thrash and should be avoided unless like me you can get it for $1.50.
