hey everyone im new to this site, and ive been in sort of a rutt lately and need something new and brutal to listen to..

my fave metal bands are

so from that list u can pretty much tell what im into death/black/heavy metal. so im hopin you all can suggest to me something new i havent heard, it better not be something lame like slipknot or disturbed though lol

Don't be a turd, dude! He never made any claims, and furthermore is asking for recommendations. Those are all the bands that the mainstream allows you to be exposed to, and now he is looking deeper.

It's better than a lot of n00b lists we see around here.

My standard rec for people new to metal is Hypocrisy. Lots of diversity, accessible and well done.

Bloodbath

Bloodbath are what really got me into death metal...I mean, before them I listened to Opeth but not much else, so yeah get Resurrection Through Carnage by Bloodbath and I would also recommend Nihility by Decapitated.
