Any DragonLance readers around ?

Well I read Star Wars novels. I've read a few books in the Forgotten Realms series, I read the first trilogy of DragonLance and I've read all the Harry Potter books numerous times.

I'm too busy writing my own epic/fantasy tale. It's hard work and leaves me little time to do anything else.

The first trilogy is awesome :D:worship:
You're writing your own one ? thats cool :)

Yeah, Final Product (I donät know what his name is now :p) is doing some proof reading / feedback. So maybe he can post on here what it's like. I don't want to comment on my own work.

All I can say is that over the last two years I have built such a vast world and twisting storyline that to give up and not share it with the world would be a complete shame.

Oh my writings are in English. I couldn't write in Finnish.

A) I want to try and get published with a Canadian company
B) I suck at speaking Finnish, writing it is way out of the question!

Where the hell is Final Product?! Get your ass in here!

I'm kidding :)

The chapters Erik has sent me thus far have been really kick ass. The scope i think he is working on is fantastic, reminiscent of say LOTR or even some of Iain M Bank's stuff. I'm still reading through some of the most recent stuff he sent, but i love the vibes i am getting.

I wouldnt quite call it fantasy or sci-fi...i think "epic" is probably the best term. The story is shaping up quite nicely and i think you'd all be pretty impressed. :)

Word.

Probably also because I've read Dragonlance way before Lotr, so I have nostalgic reasons as well. Yes, the names in DL might be a bit silly, the fellow heroes a bit cliché but what makes it so unbelievably great is that even against such odds, the story itself is enticing and won't let you go unlike Lotr which, as a work of a language professor and not a writer, becomes somewhat dull at points. I hope I don't have to point out that this is my opinion respectively.
