Any Musicians In Michigan?

Hello!!

Is there anyone on this board that lives in Michigan that can play an instrument? I am a guitar player and I have been playing for about 6 and a half years and would love to get a band started! But I do not know anyone that likes my music and plays an instrument

Hello!!

Yes! I wish I did not live so far! Here in America power/prog metal is practically unknown it seems...I am 17 and a high school student, and of course, I am the only one in our school into the genre. Hopefully one day I will find someone serious about making music!

Lol. I've been looking for a guitarist for my band too. I can never find any musicians in the area, because this state sucks... and getting a band together is horror. *shrugs* Hardcore, Black Metal, Death Metal, anything along those lines is near impossible to get started... Hardcore slightly easier, since it's becoming mainstreamish here. Black Metal is also getting semi-popular, but still can't find anyone willing to play it :-( I got a 'band,' well... had one. Fired alot of the members. now theres 3. Two vox and a guitarist (raspy vox like black metal, and screamy vox like hardcore, and then a slow breakdown type guitarist who kicks ass)... *shrugs* Yep. Aiming for 6 people. 2 vox, 2 guitar, 1 bass, 1 drum... Maybe 7- 1 keys... Hmm, ah well, looking for a fast guitarist into metal and a bassist and a fast drummer, but not too easy to find.

lol... Egh, ah well. *rambling*
