Any of you guys play the Sax??

oh and i had to take the chance to tell this story... started playing sax in middle and got pretty good at it. the director was grooming me for the HS jazz band which competed, so she let me use her Selmer Paris Mark VI or somethign like that. so here was this 14 yo kid with a $5K sax. at the time i was very grateful and made good use of it, but truly didnt appreciate what she did for me until much later. i dont think i've used a piece of music equipment as valuable as that since then.

k, now i gotta throw on some charlie parker when i get home

I hate the sax. :p It sounds too "80s urban rock with sewers making smoke in NYC or something". But in high school I played the flute, the trumpet and the clarinet. And from my very humble experience the easiest wind instruments are the wooden ones. The flute is very complicated, and I think the mouth technics are harder to reach with a brass instrument because it is your own lips that vibrates. But wooden instruments taste awful and they give me chills in my back. :p
