i have recently found opeth.and love the "softer" side,windowpane,hours of wealth,etc... and i also like "riverside" alo. does anyone know of other bands that are similar?

Two PoS metal albums? For one PoS is a PROG band, which means they cover lots of styles. Two if you want to break it down even further Riverside has obvious deep metal, and rock influences much like PoS. No Hard feelings, but you have no clue what you're even talking about as I'm sure no Riverside fan would complain that PoS is too heavy. PoS is one of the most obvious recommendations for a Riverside fan. Lastly I copy, and pasted this post from another thread, and Viva Emptiness may be the heaviest thing I mentioned, but I think he can handle that amount of heaviness. Besides possibly Viva those are some extremely solid recommendations. Totally ridiculous you would say otherwise.

P.S. It may have been a joke that's been kicked like a dead horse by now but someone mentioned Rick Astley for christs sake.
