Anyone caught Gigantour yet?

I attended Las Vegas show.the bad point was that being held in an indoor venue we only got 4 bands,Arch Enemy,Opeth,Lamb of God and Megadeth.the good news is Opeth and Megadeth were great, and I am not really an Opeth fan.I couldn't catch Arch Enemy's show because it was too early.I can't get into Lamb of God,one of the guitarists is great, the drummer is overrated and I hate the fucking vocals.Megadeth was great, they had some troubles with their sound at the very beggining wich kinda sucked because the first song was Blackmail the Universe, one of my favs out of their last album.anyway, they were very professional and great.nice pit during the Megadeth and Lamb of God shows.

Megadeth setlist:
Blackmail the Universe
Set the World Afire
Wake Up Dead
Skin O'My Teeth
In My Darkest Hour
Scorpion
Die Dead Enough
Sweating Bullets
Symphony of Destruction
Take No Prisoners(fucking great)
Tornado of Souls
Hangar 18
Trust
She-Wolf
Washington's Next
Peace Sells
Holy Wars.

I went twice this weekend, to Milwaukee and Chicago. It was a lot of fun. Not as fun as last year, but of course last year's was impossible to top since it was almost all of my favorite bands.

It was fun, although disappointed about missing IE. We got there too late. Missed Overkill too.

It was an adventure though. We saw Arch Enemy, Opeth and Megadeth. Could've cared less about all the other bands. Not a big Lamb of God fan.

My only complaint was the vocals were way too low for every band. Angela's especially. But We still had a blast. Got pretty buzzed and rocked out.
I live for shows. There's nothing like going to a show and hearing that first note of a song you love and getting goosebumps.

That is what makes me want to be on stage so badly!

My friend and I also got led on a wild goosechase after the show. We got a VIP pass to go meet the bands from this guy claiming to be the Tour Manager and we get taken around the bowels of the venue and had to deal with a bunch of horny roadies and never ended up meeting any of the bands. Then as we're sitting waiting for this "Tour Manager" to come back the security guards kicked us out.

My friends boyfriend(and father of her children) and her brother ended up leaving us there (This venue is seriously in the ghetto) And it was raining out(which normally doesn't bother me, but we were both relatively scantily clad)

So we went to a diner across the street and ate greasy food and laughed about the whole thing until my friend Jon came and got us.
So that will definately be a show I'll never foget. hehe
