wow......i thought that opeth had the longest songs but then DT comes around and releases a 42 (!!!!!) minute long song!!! ......anyhow i allready have the album on mp3 and it kicks serious ass! as soon as it comes out i'll be the first in the line to buy it

Try Green Carnation's "Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness". It's one 60 minute song. I like it much better than the new DT.

Sorry, but Six Degrees isn't as appealing to me as Scenes From A Memory,(which I think is the best they've ever done).

oh i am so downloading that .....i like long songs and i heard only good stuff about Green Carnation....i too don't like Six Degrees as scenes from a memory but IMO it's still a great album....potentially in my next years top 3...

yikes. ...i'll do it tommorow maybe .....i've been very busy lately .....all i can say is that it's different then anything they had done before ....slightly more experimentational (it actually has rappish schratching at one point in "the glass prison") but it's overall a VERY great album.... in my opinion at least

the glass prison sucks, as well as every other song on the first disc EXCEPT for the great debate.

BUT in the great debate they blatantly rip off tool..... the first cd is totally experimental and joking around and having fun so it sucks my dick

THE SECOND CD, on the other hand, is fucking amazing.... the whole 40 minutes is great and jordan rudess kicks incredible amounts of ass in the song.
