Anyone get Superior 2.0 yet?

Does anyone know if the Upgrade disk is the same as the regular "new user" disk? Can I do a stand alone install with the upgrade disk, or do I have to have the original DFHS installed first?

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on this.

For upgrade versions you ALWAYS need the program you're upgrading from. The only exception ever has been Microsoft Office 2000, which you could upgrade from itself There was a bug in the installer and you could just point it to itself to install.

The upgrade can actually be installed on it's own. It just requires you to have a DFHS licence registered with Toontrack in order to activate S2.0. I recently rebuilt my DAW and didn't re-install the DFHS VSTi and just have the DFHS samples installed on a separate drive and remapped the directory in S2.0.

Cool! That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I'm running out of space on my drive and will likely need to uninstall DFHS in order to make room for Superior 2.0.

Apparently they won't ship to a PO Box. I didn't notice that they had emailed me asking me for my street address on the 11th, until today.

Might as well install DFHS 1.0 on my Hackintosh while I wait...
