Man, I'm actually quite looking forward to this. I'll be attending the one in Toronto at the Opera House (woohoo!!!) I don't expect to be as "wowed" as I was for Emperor as I don't follow these bands as much, but it should still be an enjoyable show.

Anyone else setting their sights on it?

Fuck yes!!!!!! Here in Arizona!!! Mostly for Enslaved...but this is gonna kick ass!!!! I love both bands and will be sporting my black metal jacket cause im so cult and necro still.

:kickass: Hehe, cheers to that!!! I hope DF AT LEAST plays more than a few songs off The Secret of the Black Arts - the only album I own from them hehe.
But yeah, it WILL kick-ass. One of my friend's buddies is actually afraid of attending thinking he will get beat up at the show by not looking "true" enough lol.

Nah man, there will be total posers at the show I know that for sure. Metal shows aren't like they used to be. if someone gives me shit for my shorter hair, I'll give it right back. Plus theres gonna be a lot of indians at the show here...heavy weights too!!! urrrrrrr gonna be a ruff show!

i picked moonsorrow and woods of Ypress over Enslaved and Dark Funneral, not quite font of enslaved anyway and well i hope dark funeral comes again later on, *sighs* sucky financial situation and 500 dlls school books

I went to the Québec show yesterday. What can I say, both Enslaved and Dark Funeral delivered one freakin' hell of a performance. I've never, ever, seen such intensity from a crowd, be it from video footage or actual live shows. Peoples were literally out of their mind, especially so during the Dark Funeral set, which is easily THE best performance I've ever seen. period. The vocalist even said that we were the single best crowd they had. Fucking hell was it insane...The moshing was really taken to the extreme, it's not even funny. While I'm not a big Dark Funeral fan, I just can't ignore the intensity of their performance. Oh, and the vocalist might just be the best black metal vocalist out there. Love or hate these guys, they simply are one of the most extreme, fastest black metal band. A fucking punch in the face, nothing less.

That being said, Enslaved is the reason why I broke my little sorry ass and decided to actually go to the show. They played most of my favorite songs:
(Path of Venir, Fusion of Sense and Earth, The Voices, Ascension, Return To Yggdrasill, Essence, RUUN).
. The chimestry between the crowd and the band was exceptionnal.

I caught them in New York City on Jan 10th. Our crowd wasn't as intense (it being a Wednesday night? I dunno), but Enslaved put on one hell of a performance. Much like you, Enslaved is why I went to the show. It was worth the $30!

Cool! And yes, wednesday night isn't the best day that's for sure.
