Anyone got an LTD H-1001?

I'm looking at buying one and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. Good? Bad? I read on the ESP forums that the nut isn't big enough for .56 gauge strings and so it doesn't handle low tunings very well out of the box. Apart from the headstock, I believe it's exactly the same as the H-1000 (and I prefer the new headstock anyway, fuck the cocksock).

I do, and I love mine! And any problems with the nut won't matter because you should immediately buy this and bring it and the guitar to a tech to install (making sure to specify how thick strings you want to use, ideally bring them with you), and be amazed at how much better it is than the plastic chintzy earvana And I too love the current headstock, though my impression is we're in the minority on that one

Ha yeah it definatly seems like most LTD fans prefer the cock(stock). It also seems like the abalone binding is getting a lot of hate, and I agree except on the black H-1001. Tell me this doesn't look sexy.
