just got tickets to see ac in june, its a venue that seats around 3000 people,i just think seeing ac in such a small venue can only be cool, just wanted to hear some comments about his live shows, thanks.

Actually a 3,000 seater is about the going rate for Alice these days. He still puts on a cool show. He really can't do as big as show as KISS or Maiden, because he simply doesn't generate that much revenue, but every time I've seen him it as been great. Expect to hear the usual greatest hits, and then some sprinkles of rarities and new stuff.
Also, don't expect much between song banter. Alice stays in character, and doesn't talk to the crowd much.
He's co-headlining w/ Cheap Trick this summer in the US. It should be FUN.

seen alice cooper 4 times and beleive it or not he sounds better now than ever, the old farts got a lot of energy on stage too.

36 holes of golf per day do not hurt. And he is a 32nd Degree Mason. :worship:

Well, he plays 10,000 seat venues here in the US as well, but the usual draw is around 3,000. He was stopping in Columbus at the Polaris Amp. every Oct. and doing a Halloween show, which drew between 3,000 - 4,000, then last year he played the state fair :erk: Sometimes they book him in clubs, small arenas, theatres, ampitheatres, and lately he has been hitting the casino's a lot as well. No matter to me, wherever he and CT play this year, I am there!

ahhhh the coopmeister-saw him on the raise ya fist tour and then again on the poison tour-the poison one was cool but the raise ya fist show was by far the best.by all accounts he's still crackin live -think i'll check it out as he,s over here this year

In Halifax, Nova Scotia we gotta Alice Cooper Cover band called "My Other Brother Alice" They are Wicked, they only play the '70s stuff, it's great, and the singer looks alot like 'em.

I went to see Motorhead open for Cooper back in '89. I wasn't even interested in Cooper at the time. That night I left a HUGE Cooper fan... To this day it is still the best show I ever saw... I don't know if it was the Purple Microdot I was on or if it actually WAS the best show I ever saw... there was only about 5000 in attendance that night and it was the most incredible theatrical show I've ever seen and I've seen shit loads of concerts. I haven't seen him since then but heard he's tamed his show down a lot. I wanna see that old bugger at least one more time.... acidless...

It was the microdot.

Last time I saw Alice Cooper it was in a working man's club in northern england, he was so broke he had to use a worm instead of a snake.

Haha, Showin off his Oldmanlyness, Pants pulled way up to there! haha He was Jim Morrison's little brother back in the day, that woulda been fun!

I see him pretty much every year and it is always a good time... The last two years the stage show was pretty stripped but there was still theatrics. Some tours he goes all out though, you never know when you are gonna see teh guilotine..

I wanna try and go when he comes around Philly. I LOVE Cheap Trick and Alice Cooper is the undesputed man second only to Ted Nugent. You gotta love the brains on those rockers.

It's been a few years since the N Y's eve show we saw, but it was classic Alice. Infukincredible!

Was that at Wendler Arena with (unfortunately:yuk: ) Ted Nugent? I was at that Whiplash Bash and Cooper did kick ass
