Anyone interested in free multitracks of my band's EP?

Here's my take on The Blood Runs Red:kickass:

DI's amped through TSE808>Le456>Mesa Triad and Fat 44100 Impulses

Pretty stoked with how this turned out. Did the drums a little differently on this one, and absolutely no EQ or multiband on the masterbuss, just SSLComp/Gclip x2/Pro-L.

Thanks for taking the time to mix this one. Nice mix man!!! Really liked the stutter effect on the vocal during the breakdown and the telephone effect on the center guitar at the end of the intro. It's the creative mix decisions like that that make these fun for me to listen to!

Hi! Thanks for this stuff, nice songs. My quick:

Tell me what you think!

Thanks for taking the time to mix this! Here are my thoughts. I felt the drums were over compressed. They were lacking any real pop, especially the snare. The guitar tone was decent, but I felt it took away some of the pick attack. I think what you really nailed on this mix were some of the creative elements. I liked the effect on the intro center guitar and the vocals during the breakdown were awesome. Wish I would have thought of something like that!!! Thanks again for mixing this. I'll post some of the other songs if people are still interested.

Thanks for answer me. You are right, I have a lot of compression in the drum buss and I screw up with the snare EQ (I don´t know what I was thinking in this moment ).

What would you advise me to solve the issue of the guitars you mention?

Thanks and continue uploading new material :headbang:

Maybe increase the mids a bit on the amp and decrease the gain a little. How high do you have the gain turned up? I try using the least amount of gain possible while still maintaining an aggressive sound when creating a rhythm tone. I feel that gives me the clarity I'm after

Here's my mix, did a few days ago, but haven't uploaded it. If soundcloud does weird things with the quality here's a dropbox link too.

Thanks for sharing! I like the ambient effects on the vocals (reverb, delay, etc). I felt it suits the song well. Guitars sounded a little "hollow" and low in volume for my taste, but that's just my preference. Thanks again for mixing and sharing!
