I need a short sax solo for a song... Alto sax, I think it would be. If not, can someone at least confirm that this part is doable? Aside from the midi divebomb lol.

Apart from the bend at 12 seconds, it's playable, the bend's just a bit large I think. I could give it a shot, but my LDC broke so I'd only be able to record with an SM57, which isn't ideal aha.

totally playable, I've heard friends and family do much trickier sounding things on the sax. The only thing that might challenge the player is the final run depending *entirely* on what key you're in.

Ahaha Carlos, that song is what I think of every time I hear it.

No rush on getting this recorded at the moment, as we're still tracking vocals/real drums. Let me know if you're able to do it later on!

EDIT: Is that bend at :12 really too wide? It's only a half step... Final fast run is in Eb lydian/G minor.

the bend is fine. In the right hands a saxophone can bend round in a circle!

You're in luck with the key as well (I think... i'm never great at getting transposition right!). G minor is equivalent to Bb major, which is C major for a tenor sax and G major for an alto. Easy keys to shred in.
