If so, I'm guessing you have to program the bass track manually?

Or you can just use melodyne to export the midi-data.

Cymbals are real. Toms are samples from the drummer's set. Snare is Slate (plus maybe another sample, not sure), Kick is Slate
Guitars are Podfarm. No info on bass other than the sinewave trick. Really not much different than his other new stuff

bass is UAD Preflex
and Im not positive but bass kinda sounds like trillian instead of DI

I'm guessing that it was done to achieve a certain sound, not because of playing problems but I don't really know.

It's funny, my favorite Emmure drum tones thus far have been Goodbye to the Gallows which was all natural, and Speaker of the Dead which is apparently all samples. I think it just proves that there is no right way to do things, as long as you know what you're doing. haha
