If you have a smartphone, download sound hound (they have it atleast for iPhone) and see if it can detect the song.

I has worked for me in unbeliveable places. Detected a silent song in the background once in a diner when i tested.

I'd try it, but I'm at work now so I can't test, sorry.

I don't have a smartphone atm, only cheap Samsung. I've been actually using YouTube to detect some songs as it has a similar feature called "Content ID check" but it didn't know this one.

Tried to run that song through our computer in to my sound hound at work. No luck atleast with the computer integrated speaker. I'll see if I get the time to try through my headphones to see if the signal is better.

The vocals are so distorted it's hard to tell the lyrics so I guess one can't really google them either

Thanks a ton man! How did you figure it out?

And yes it is from Command & Conquer but if I remember right I extracted it from the compressed game file which contains all the songs, hence it's mono. C&C, Red Alert and Dune 2000 soundtracks are indeed badass. It's funny since the composer, Frank Klepacki, who's done most of the songs in older C&C games is a drummer actually. I threw on a pair of headphones and once I made out the line "armies of hatred that no longer have civil rights" I googled it. I have to admit, the vox are difficult to understand so the YT vid with lyrics helps lol.

Pretty kick ass tune, thanks for the original post or I may have never heard this little gem!!
