Hey everyone this is my first post/thread.
Im starting one of my fist sessions tommorow and im starting drums.
Im using ddrum triggers and some audix overheads.
I was wondering if anyone has used ATrigga2 for drum replacement before and how you liked it.

BTW: I will have some rough mixes up here in a few days.

Aptrigga has worked great for me for a while now.

It's pretty simple and i love mixing multiple kick samples to make one that fits the sound I'm shooting for.

Nice and quick. And it's well priced.

It works great if you use several samples of different velocities and use dynamic mode. I love ApTrigga2. Worked GREAT for me thus far, I also use ddrum triggers to trigger my samples.

Alright sweet.
Well ill get it and try it out.
Im using some of Sneaps tom samples.
And a kick sample I made.
but using a 57 on the snare and probably blending a sample.

I prefer the random function, which triggers random samples, with which you can control the dynamics of using the level mod feature. Doing it this way, if the drums are very dynamic, I have to set up separate tracks for the different velocity hits triggered by aptrigga, but it gives me more control over what samples are being triggered.

I like it very much. Drumagog always has trouble staying along with very kicks, even programmed ones (mistriggers left and right), while Aptrigga2 has no problems even with ridiculously fast kicks (64th notes at 250 bpm )

Im very new on here but after reading how good it is i got it myself and rate it. For what it does and the price, definitely pick it up

I love apTrigga2, hasn't let me down yet! I think I still have my Drumagog Pro box laying around the closet somewhere too

Hey Lasse, are you wrapping the VST or is there an RTAS version available that I'm unaware of? If you're wrapping, what's the latency like if you disable ADC on your HD rig? Cheers!

yep, it's wrapped...dunno about the latency though.

aptrigga really is the shit...just move the track until one sample lines up with the mic track and ALL the samples are in phase....no other replacer does that

tried the demo some time ago, i love this little tool.
for the full version owners, is it possible to trigger a drum VSTi like superior2, AD, BFD!?

cheers
S.

Cool, cheers Lasse I'll be sure to try it out when I get my PT rig before I splash out on Drumagog.
I've only ever used Aptrigga2 demo in Reaper and I had no problems with it.

Edit: westandredeemed: Would you mind fixing your damn sig? It's bigger than 90% of your posts! Cheers!
