i'm planning to pick one up today for my stepdad to use between work and home and don't want to get him a crappy one. looking at the 128-256mb range, but want decent build quality too. upgradable is key. i've mostly looked at the flash ones since the memory's upgradable, but they kind of look cheap/plastic. anyone used one?
i thought about the ones that take all different kinds of memory so you don't have to dedicate to one brand of memory in case the kind i pick gets bought and stomped out of existence. but they don't look very portable. i want something easy to carry, as he walks to work a lot (house on campus at university).
