I thought they were pretty damn boring, and I am pissed Sideways didnt have a chance. and the Aviator wasnt even close to one of Scorcese's best movies. The problem is how many more movies can the guy make, before he fnally wins? whose legs does he have to break?

my wife kept me updated while I played GTA and listened to some tunes, but I did watch some of it during dinner. Boring as all hell.
I did hear Rock's opening speech which was the best part of the show, from what I saw.
Beyonce is one hot nig....I mean chick.
I was disappointed The Aviator lost Best Picture. But Eastwood is a Hollywood darling, and his film was a "boo-hoo-I'm-in-tears" movie which the Academy drools over every year (except last year, thank Gawd), while The Aviator was not really a cry-me-a-river story at all.
And I really don't see the hate for DiCaprio. He did a phenomenal job on The Aviator, love 'em or hate 'em. Sure, he's not my fave actor either, but he is better at his job than Keanu Reeves.

Black people make films called "Barbershop". Or "Carwash". Or "Soul Plane".
Did you see the bit when he went to the Magic Johnson theater and asked all the black people which films they saw. Nobody watched Million Dollar Baby or The Aviator, but they all loved White Chicks. One dude even said the best film ever was Chronicles of Riddick.
