Hey does anyone agree with me that the point from when Mike says "I will endure, hide away" to the end of the song is one of the best passages of music they have ever written?

I had borrowed My Arms, Your Hearse from a friend and decided to buy it as i had everything except that and Orchid and MAYH, yes i am a noob too Opeth, well, since like march ive loved them. Ive listened to MAYH liek 3 times already hehehe, but can i ask, are the lyrics in Prologue, Madrigal and Epilogue only meant to add to the story or i dont know, its just wierd. But its a great concept, i love the story.

Yes, the second half of April Ethereal is absolutely beautiful. When is beautiful all the way through. The Amen Corner and Demon of the Fall are utterly slayful and brilliant. Credence is very powerful too. MAYH has a lot of replay value, and it my personal favourite album of all time.

It saddens me that I rarely see anyone mention the "The rain was waving goodbye" part of April Ethereal. That is EASIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILY, the best moment of Opeth's career.
