basically it is the literal meaning, but he was implying hmm...like "let's do some grind..." (if JW wrote the lyrics, wouldn't know )

m-hmm... here it was used for another purpose, therefore rearranged.

on the other hand, looking from another perspective (thank you, At The Gates, for reminding us), the meaning is the same. "Arbeit macht frei"= "Arbeit macht Fleisch". frei and Fleisch turned out to be the same thing: death.

a word by word translation would be: "storm and urge" or smth...you see it doesnt make much sense....it'S a direction of lierature....
