he can use 12 strings for all I care. I seriously don't get why people think that just because he has an extra string, it can't possibly be good.

Just use the seven string as you would a six string. Surely it cant prevent you from playing any less complicated.
Being lower will make things muddier like the tone on dead heart, but it still kicks ass.
The next album will hopefully prove a few people wrong and turn out to be their best release, im sure they wont dissapoint.

I never said it was their best work nor worst. The question was does it really matter if he uses 7 strings as opposed to 6?
