do you look like a headbanger that wear metal bands everytime, just go the metal parties and have dates with people that likes metal as you?

or do you listen to metal but have a common life, use any kind os clothes and don't care if isn't playing metal where you are and have friends that don't like metal but respect your taste and you respect then too???

Apart from occasionally wearing metal shirts, I'm not at all metal. None of my mates listen to metal and I very rarely mention it other than on this forum.
I don't give a shit what other people listen to. Like I've said before, what a persons listens to should have no bearing on who they are as a person.

In short, no I am not. 97% of band shirts are ugly. Most people into metal are boring and use it as a way to cover their issues with being normal with other people. The overall lifestyle got boring fast.

I have long hair, but that's because I like that. I wear some band-shirts, but that's hardly all I wear.

Like fashion sense has any bearing on one's character. :Smug:

Yeah, I don't think it effects a persons overall character. i just don't like the way a "metalhead" would look so I choose not to look like one. Nor do I really act like one.

I have short hair that only gets a bit long because I'm too lazy to go to the barber.

I wear jeans and sandals usually, although I have a nice pair of brown shoes that I wear sometimes (when it's not too hot).

Occasionally I wear band shirts; but I have a random assortment of tees and I never really think too much over which one I'm going to put on (I have no metal band t-shirts).

I only have one friend and a cousin who listen to metal and I can talk with about metal. Other than that, all my friends don't care for or hate metal, and some of them make fun of me for liking it. My girlfriend hates it, and her and my roomates make fun of me for going on this forum (I don't care, they're still cool people and my girlfriend still sleeps with me, so it's all good). My older brother, who is a huge classic rock/folk rock fanatic, is slightly ashamed that I listen to metal.

I basically talk about metal rarely with anyone I know, rarely get to attend metal shows, and never attend parties where metal is played. Basically, I am an exile in my own group.

It's a hard knock life.

I wear a lot of bands' t-shirts, but that's it. No long hair when you work at a bank

Most friends don't listen to metal, and tend to show little to no respect for bands and what they represent to metal fans :erk:

Anyway, I don't care :)

To compensate that shitty situation, I go to shows and metal parties / bars as often as I can. As you know, childrengrinder, brazilian metalheads are fucking great people (I believe Rio's scene is quite like Sao Paulo's).

I don't wear metal shirts, but I've been known to have long hair. I also have an ear gauge but it's not that metal. I don't really headbang when I listen to music, either.

hmmm... but there are many dumb brazillian metalheads too. tbh, most of metalheads in the world are dumb.

i like people that likes metal but doens't care if someone dislikes and doens't live the headbanger's way of life.

I have long hair, wear band shirts and many of my friend listen to the same type of music and look the same so, I guess I'm a "headbanger".

most of my shirts are band shirts, barely any of my friends listen to metal and the 2 that do either like mostly metalcore or think cradle of filth is black metal. my hair is sorta long, not long enough to headbang and look cool yet though lol. other than that i guess im pretty much a "normal" guy.
