The only advice I can give you is that the nose in the upper piece is too broad. If you narrow it down, it'll look a lot better. And I'd get rid of the black line in the middle, the one making an n-shape.

hrrmmm...there's always a bit of shadow in the area between the eyebrows. If there is no shadow, it indicates that the person's nose connects directly to the forehead without an inward dip.
Do some more nose drawings from life, and you'll be just fine

I think I used recycled lowfire white clay and underglazes with both. It's been about a year since I finished those, so I forgetted.

I didn't mind her till I started reading her posts.
