Its likely to be an early start and early finish due to the Astoria holding its regular G.A.Y. nightclub after the gig.

I would guess Saxon will be on not much later than 8pm.

Now it wouldn't be the first time I've misread something or got the wrong end of the stick, so correct me if I'm wrong here.

But I thought the Astoria gig was a Saturday not a Thursday? 2nd October is a Saturday in my diary at least. If its a Thursday I'm going to be in the shit!

Also, I was under the impression that the support in the UK was Dream Evil, not Chinchilla. Obviously not as serious as the first one, but Dream Evil I like, I've got all their albums. Chinchilla on the other hand I have heard only a few samples from their website. So I'd prefer DE obviously.

I'm dragging the girlfriend down to London for the Astoria gig, but like you Wilks I'm thinking of driving on my own to Wolv and driving back after, and that's a bloody annoying thing to have to do. Hopefully there'll be a board meet-up in Wolverhampton, if work etc allows me to go I'll be up for arranging one.
