I'm posting this on behalf of my flatemate. We both plan on attending the Mellotronen Festival in March. If anyone wants to join us here are the plans/details.

Return flights to Stockholm : 57Euro

4 bedroom cabin on luxury cruise boat: 90Euro

4 bed hostel: 54Euro

Spending money? whatever you want:

Going on a cruise ship with Opeth and Katatonia for 2 days and
meeting with them on international waters where you don't have to pay tax: PRICELESS


Heres the full plan:

Thursday 6th March 2008: get on the Aircoach (if your going from Cork)
and head to Dublin airport.

wait til the next day...

Flight to Stockholm at 07:15am on Friday 7th March and arrive at 10:55am in Stockholm.

Wait til next day...do whatever you want...

8th March: Boat leaves Stockholm at 5pm and we go on our merry way for a
2 day cruise to Helsinki with Opeth and Katatonia (plus loads of other bands).

Monday 10th March arrive back in Stockholm at 9:30am.

Check into The hostel in the center of Stockholm, have fun and relax for 2 days!


Flight leaves Stockholm at 9pm on Wednesday 12th March and we arrive back in Dublin
at 10:45pm where we get the Aircoach back to cork and talk for years about the wonderful experience we all had!

All for around 200 Euro!!!

Don't forget about Comus being there!!!! Opeth and Katatonia are fine and dandy, but Comus is the main reason I'd go... if I lived anywhere near Europe.
