Hello Swedes.

I'll finally make my first journey to Sweden in October, and I need some help. Here's what I need; any suggestions would be most appreciated.

1. Cheap places to stay in Stockholm (hostels, etc.)
2. Cheapest way to travel (say, from Stockholm to Gothenburg)
3. Cool places to see in a short time (ie., 9 days)

well, i have 9 days to hit sweden (home to distant relatives), finland, norway and denmark. plus, funds are limited. i'd love to make it to helsinki, oslo and bergen, but time is the enemy here.

Well....
i cant help you with places to live..
but if you are under the age of 26 the cheapest way to travel far distances (stockholm - gothenburg) is a stand by ticket at the airplane. last time i checked they costed 350 skr one way (about 35$).
within the cities, subway is the cheapest way to get around.
