Audio interfaces with 2 or more adats

I am going to record a band soon and I am looking for an interface to plug 16 preamps (2xOctopre) to it. Any sugestion on something moderaly good/cheap?

Also, is there a list of mics Sneap uses when micing drumkits?

RME Fireface has 2 ADATs in/out, but I guess this is not what you call moderaly good/cheap

It's a bit expensive, but seems to be the only choice...

Does it need an extra pci card? if so, which one it is? there're no mentions to USB or Firewire..

There's cheaper RME ADAT cards (Hammerfall etc) but you'll need a small mixer for moniitoring etc

Thanks brett! I actually checked andy's website after I posted the question and I already know the mics


let me put the question this way:

Is there an interface with >=12 pres or with 2 or more adat plugs besides the ones we already talked about? and if I buy the hammerfall, why do I need a mixer to monitor? can't I monitor the ins from the daw?

Sugest me some reasonable solution, I need 12 pres to start with, let's say I've got 1,500euros in budget to waste (including mic pres but not mics)
