Australian death metal advice

Hi!, SAD X is probably the only death metalband that i know,
plus the black/death spawn Abominator,

can any1 give me any advice about Aussie death metal bands?

which band should I check out!?

I heard great things about a band called Abattoir ?!?!?

any comment ?!

Abattoir? I'm sure Abattoir was an 80s thrash band. Anyway, if it's Aussie death you're after some of the bands you might wanna look for include Atomizer, Psycroptic, Psychrist, Gospel of the Horns, and Bestial Warlust. I could give you a list a mile long, but the easy way would be to go to my site and have a look through it.

there was a band called abattoir in newcastle, but they fucking suck. their drummer is pretty good but other than that they were shit. check out The Amenta, theyre a newcastle/sydney based band:
