You guys as excited as I am about the new Avantasia album? The title track is apparently a ten minute track with a 'vocal battle' between Russell, Jorn and Tobias woooo creamy

Yeah that whole album is really good. But the Scarecrow and the last few Edguy efforts have all been huge smelly piles if you ask me.

I know. Not very mettalic either. it's kind of generic but with bad twists

I've never really liked Avantasia. Even their early stuff...I know a lot of people like it but bleh, not my thing.

But I will give it a listen and a chance! This I swear! No prejudices!

Russell will be on it apparently, but so will a slew of other amazing artists! Two CD set, its def' worth a look into. He claims its his best work in a long time, now that the industry is in such diseray because of pirating it might be his last major huge budget effort for Avantasia!

I was going to say "Yeah, a band can make an another great effort after a couple of bad one's"

But then I realized I don't know a single metal band that has done that... Damn...


And this "Metal Symphony" album sounds quite interesting for power metal. On track three now.
