Awakenings live...

When the guys play Awakenings live, does anyone miss the intro they leave out? They just go right into the verse! This is the kind of song that would be perfect to just head right into after finishing another song (you know, from the A chord they hold at the beginning).

The bass solo in the intro is sweet, and I've always wondered why they omit this section live.

Awakenings is by far one of my Favorite Russel Allen songs... And also for 'The Odyssey' shines Pinnella's keyboarding a lot more!

If I'm not mistaken, they excluded it because it would be extremely difficult to play live... Or because the song is pretty long and taken away a 1 minute intro might be what they had to do! I do miss it yes, but I think hearing Russel sing Awakenings live adds something special to the song that cant be achieved from the Album!
