I picked these up on an online friend's recommendation. I bought Into the Electric Castle and The Human Equation. I couldn't find the one with the SymX members on it. But I dig Ayeron alot. I like the song Loser the best off the Human Equation album. Very epic and talented music and I like all the different styles of music played, every song is a different trip.

It's Ayreon. ;)

And I LOVE Ayreon--it's one of my favorites ever! Always glad to see more of us. :)

Anyway, the one with Russell and Romeo is The Universal Migrator, and you might want to check Best Buy for it. That's where I got my copy.

Yeah Best Buy has around 3 copies each of Human Equation, Into the Electric Castle, and Universal Migrator. Parts 1 + 2 of Universal Migrator for $14 is sweet deal.

Yeah...Arjen doesn't believe in making his work unaffordable and I think he insists on decent prices with the record companies. :)

Ayreon is quite possibly one of my favorite artists/bands/projects of all time, ever, period, done.

I have all the cd's and I love all of them, great performances all around, amazing, catchy songs, catcy melodies, awwww it's just awesome.

Freaking awesome production and mixing on those albums as well.

I also find it ironic that after now, what, 8 albums with Dream Theater, Arjen manages to get a better performance and sound from James LaBrie than I've ever heard on those Dream Theater albums, awesome.

Stream of Passion looks promising as well, if I'm not mistaken they were just signed to Sony/BMG Benelux

ya its the universal migrator part two thta has michael romeo on it and russel allen sings on most or i think all of the tracks on arjens star one project

:Spin: hey by the way ShokaiShimizu your stuff is great thats some good musicianship and some good guitar playing

I like Ayreon, but there are way too much keyboards.

I guess if you don't like keyboards that would be a problem...but I do. ;)

And I've always thought their keyboards are well-played, and well-placed in the song. :)

I will definately be getting that album when it's released. The mp3 they put up on their site is definately promising.

I'll definitely be getting Stream of Passion, too. And I will also be getting it as a Christmas present for my dad, if it works out well. It sounded excellent!

LOL, welcome to DonCoryson...I dunno how long you've been on this board, but I just now noticed where you're from. It's been FOREVER since I've been back to the area, but I've got to ask--do they still have that little used book store near Quila's? (The one near the Marlton Circle.)
