Oh I forgot three very important ones: Ulver - Bergtatt, Kveldssanger (more of a theme, I guess), and Nattens Madrigal (again a theme)

Theme yes, but not concept.

Really? I thought Fear Of A Blank Planet followed a clear storyline, and GR Is a concept apart from isolation years (just the songs are in the wrong order, I think). I agree about IA, Deadwing and The Bedlam In Goliath being themes rather than concepts, I just didn't realise we were being so pedantic :D

One of, if not, the best concept albums in history!

:kickass:

Both Steve, and Mike have stated numerous times that FoaBP, and GR are not concept albums, but rather theme. I'd say an actual coherent story rather than just themes makes a big enough difference especially considering just about every album has some sort of theme or themes.

Are these two concept albums?

At least Deadwing is. Even though its lyrics has never been published, but yes, it is a concept album. SW wants to make a movie out of the albums concept

For In Absentia, I think it's about some murderer, although it doesn't become that clear when you're listening to it.

I'm surprised noone mentioned the downward spiral by nine inch nails, it's trent's sort of auto-biography musically. Great album.

I think MAYH is more epic than still life but still life might be better hm..

No one has mentioned King Diamond yet!!!!

Fatal Portrait
Abigail
"Them"
Conspiracy
The Eye
The Spider's Lullabye
The Graveyard
Voodoo
House of God
Abigail II: The Revenge
The Puppet Master
Give Me Your Soul... Please

King Diamond is awsome!
