Your favorite concept albums

Hmm...now I have to think.

Well, definitely Opeth "My Arms, Your Hearse" and "Still Llife"...but after that I really have to think whether an album's a concept or a themed album.

In no particular order:
Frank Zappa "Freak Out!", "Joe's Garage"
Rush "Hemispheres"
Just about any Magma album...
Serge Gainsbourg "Histoire de Melody Nelson"
Midlake "The Trials of Van Occupanther"
Isis "Oceanic"
The Mars Volta "De-Loused in the Comatorium", "Frances the Mute"
Pink Floyd..."Dark Side of the Moon", "Wish You Were Here", "Animals", "The Wall"
Barry Adamson "Moss Side Story"
Bo Hansson "Sagan om ringen" (Lord of the Rings)
The Moody Blues "Days of Future Passed"
Aphrodite's Child "666" (although it does get a bit much sometimes...gotta be in the mood for that shit.)
The Who "Tommy" was pretty cool as far as I recall, but I haven't heard it for many years.

Now for the debatable concept albums, the ones I scratch my head over whether they are or not, and if they are make my list...or maybe we could discuss it...?

Fantômas self titled and "Delirium Cordia"
Cult of Luna "Somewhere Along the Highway"
Alice In Chains "Dirt"

oh yeah. And Porcupine Tree "Deadwing".

As for King Diamond, I have to be in a really weird mood to listen to his stuff. His singing is tough to take sometimes, but his concepts are some of the best. Actually, if it weren't for his concepts, I really wouldn't care to listen to him. He's excellent to listen to around the Halloween season, for sure. Damn it King!!

Haven't heard the newest one though. How are the vocals on that one?
