BACKMASK is currently looking for a new drummer. After several months of great fun and great shows with Ben, we have decided to part ways. We'd like to thank Ben for his time with the band, and we wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours.
We are therefore in search of a replacement. The level of talent in this band is very high, and as such we expect nothing less of our newest member.
Before considering auditioning, please be sure you fit the following requirements:
1) At least 21 years of age, with reliable transportation and no criminal record
2) Can honestly say your inspirations are similar to ours
3) Can play brutal double bass parts and slower, technical beats as well
4) Have some sort of audio sample of your work (video in addition is great)
5) Have pro-quality gear (we don't expect the world, but a proper kit with cymbals is a must)
6) Can relocate, or travel to Santa Barbara, CA for audition and rehearsals
7) Can practice on your own, outside of band rehearsals

We will listen to all submissions, but cannot reply to everything.
