Band DVD's with recording footage

As we all know, good studio footage is better than top quality porn. Could you guys list some band DVD's which include some nice material about the making of some of their albums? I haven't really stumbled upon any good ones though I remember people about talking about them :/ Chimaira's Dehumanizing process has some nice stuff and of course Metallica's Some kind of monster, but any others worth watching?

the rr united dvd is the best example of what your talking about

On the speacial edition of Unearth´s "III In the eyes of fire" there is a DVD with some studio-footage. But there´s eventually no usefull information, perhaps except that they´ve recorded the vocals with a SM 58, cuz their shouter doesn´t feel comfortable with a cordenser mic and wants to jump around while screaming.
Additionally they covered their cabs and stuff with rugs.

There are some internet-webisodes with some studio stuff:
Darkest Hour Myspace

Evergrey - A Night to Remember DVD (hours of studio footage from five different albums :kickass: )
Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (a 90-minute studio session documentary)
Dream Theater - Train of Thought (first pressings)
Meshuggah - Rare Trax (a random clip compilation with about 5 minutes of Chaosphere studio thingies)
Fear Factory - Linchpin EP (some 10 minutes of studio stuff)
Fear Factory - Archetype (a little bit of studio stuff)
Devin Townsend - Synchestra (a small featurette kind of thing)
Strapping Young Lad - Alien (about 15 - 20 minutes if I remember)
Rammstein - Völkerball DVD (from the Rosenrot sessions)
Arch Enemy - Live Apocalypse DVD (a few minutes)
Borknagar - Epic (a 15 minute video file on the CD)
In Flames - The Quiet Place CDS (a 10 minute poor content video)

I'll add more as I remember.

hate eternal's dvd has an in depth studio tour but not actual recording footage.

i think deadwing by porcupine tree has some footage.

opeth - ghost reveries special edition has a good amount, as well as lamentations.

arch enemy - burning japan has some video of the band mixing the cd with Nordstrom.

there's video online of the haunted and dark tranquility with tue madsen.

god forbid's last cd has alot.

ayreon's human equation has alot, it's mostly vocals though.

the haunted's live dvd has alot.

Gorefest - la muerte (2005) fairly detailed descriptions about the recordings and the instruments/amps used :headbang:

Machine Head - Through the Ashes of Empire bonus disc
As I Lay Dying - Sadows are security digipack edition
Devin Townsend Band - Synchestra digipack edition
Devin again with Ziltoid digipack edition with stuff about his gear (guitars, amps, etc...)
At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul Dual Disc Reissue (à la Classic Album kind of thing):worship:
Classic Albums : Metallica - Black Album
Judas Priest - British Steel
Nirvana - Nevermind
Motorhead - Ace of Spade
Iron Maiden - The Number of the beast
Def Leppard - Hysteria
:kickass: :headbang:

That Ziltoid video of Devin's stuff really disapointed me. I was expecting some actual info, but it was basically Devin whoring for products and displaying how he never really learned to play guitar properly.... All of his stuff that sounds technical in the least is a result of different tuning and isn't difficult to pull off. I was watching like "what the hell? o.o"

Cannibal Corpse's Wretched Spawn is a good one... probably the best I've seen that displays instrumental working of the guitarist and bass player. Of course they don't get into the technical tidbits that people need to know about gear, but who does? :)

I have seen these bonus discs:

The Haunted - The Dead Eye ***
Hatesphere - Serpent Smiles And Killer Eyes **
Chimaira - Resurrection ****
Cannibal Corpse - The Wretched Spawn *****
Lamb of God - Sacrament ****

I added my rating to them :)

It's not like it's 'easy' to pull it off cleanly, though. Devin Townsend is an awesome guitarist - chalking that up to an alternate tuning is BS.

wtf??

this one gets my vote for one of the most ridiculous posts ever on this forum.
