i liked isis' dvd very much, but i think they can do even better one, concerning the sound. there was a recording of live tv performance for swedish television from 2005, it had a better sound imo.
the gathering's sound relief was very very good.
also tiamat's dvd (for rather sentimental reasons)
anathema's were you here was also nice

Kiladelphia is the most honest statement I've ever seen regarding the trials and tribs of touring... incredible
Any of my Tool DVDs because first off I love their music and also their videos are so fun to watch, Rage Against The Machine: The Battle of Mexico City since it is such an incredible concert, and also my Led Zeppelin DVD set because it is just a such an incredible span of their live performances.

What annoys me with RATM is that the concert is interrupted for some political footage.. I don't mind the bands activism put why not just put it in as an extra? I want to see the concert in full and not watch Zack meeting some Zapatista Fighter.
True, that would have made a lot more sense. But I'm guessing the band did that for their own reasons because they thought no one would really watch it otherwise, or they could have just thought it was better, I don't know. And yeah that part is a bit annoying but I didn't really feel like it was dragged out and it kind of added a background to it, overall I didn't really mind it and enjoyed the concert enough to where it didn't bug me.

Well... there are reasons of course. And as you say, the concert is good so it is not something that would prevent anyone (well me) from watching.

A night under the dam is nothing but brilliant.
I have still to get alive and well.. though, so I cant say anything about that one.

I also forgot Macabre - Live in Dordrecht. I can see the back of my head for like 3 seconds. Was kinda weird that they didn't put the songs in the same order as at the concert though.
