Edguy leads the poll at the moment...I hope we're right about it, too! They really have become just about my favorite metal band out there right now, no newer band has as much of a unique sound, persona, or energy as they do. Every song they write just reeks of the fact that they love playing this music.

Hopefully people are voting for who they think has a realisitc chance in returning from the Prog Power III line-up, as opposed to who their fave band is...

Based on some things said on this forum (some from Glenn), I'm going to have to say that Blind Guardian is NOT the returning act. I'd wager money on that.

I'd most like to see Angra from that list, since I was too worn out to really appreciate their late set at PPUSA III -- I wandered back into the bowl near the end of their really neet Brazilian drum-thingie and thought "WTF? I missed this?!"

PoS would also be great, or DTB (but with a much-longer set than they're likely to get at PP), or Zero Hour.... I'm thinking that Edguy is most likely, though, for many of the reasons given.

Zero Hour than any other, but... doubt it.
I said Pain Of Salvation, but the votes tend to be leaning towards Edguy. Personally, I would rather see Edguy over POS. I liked Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian, too. Just doubt either would be back. I really hope it is not Angra or Silent Force (I love Silent Force on CD, but live, well that was a different story. Angra - blah.)

I'm voting for Pain of Salvation... I think they're sorta in the same category as Evergrey and Symphony X... bands that perform every other year.
