Includes Shlomit Levi's solo album samples from her MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/shlomitlevi)
I'm reckoned everyone who visits this forum will definitely get her album after it's finally released Her voice is... Goddesslike.
PS:
Those who hate waiting for slots/time-counters when downloading stuff from RapidShare or DepositFiles, try using the XXXXL-17 software: http://www.katzforums.com/showthread.php?t=146856 (no viruses, no trojans, no malware, works perfectly for me).
wow- thanks for posting so much cool stuff I'm afraid my well has dried up. BC-A and me listen to quite some oriental stuff, but most is not metal related. I had no idea there was so much oriental metal stuff available.
Oops, Junaid, Antaragni's songs that you uploaded are no longer available. Most likely, Mediafire is no longer allowed to host mp3s. But I managed to download them before they were removed.
Anyone can get the songs here: http://depositfiles.com/files/ki0lxu2jb

I would characterize their music as Indian art-rock. Zen light musical patterns with acoustic guitar and traditional instruments (dutar-sounding violin, flute, tabla, occasional sitar) and chants.
I can't believe no ones mentioned Bilocate yet! They're from Jordan and one of the best Oriental death metal bands around not that there are very many! lol Check em out! www.myspace.com/bilocate
Dude its simply amazing how a guy from exUSSR can get his hands on music from a city in India, by a band with no more than a few thousand listeners at most!
Most people here who are into rock/metal haven't heard of Antaragini and it is just amazing to know that someone thousands of kilometres has given them a listen. But on the other hand, little bands from Europe are stupified when I tell them that I love their music
They are WONDERFUL! Pure A Capella, and they can imitate _anything_.
They come from Israel, and I think this is _the_ choir that could record parts of ORwarriOR
They all got perfect ear for singing - maybe Kobi could join them one day
Thank you very much Messiakh for your great suggestions.
As for how very ' small bands' music ends up at the other end of the world: BLESS THE INTERNET
