Bands that Resemble Old D.T.

This thread is meant for those who look for bands that for some reason are in the same level of the Skydancer Gallery era.

Fall of the Leafe - Evanescent, Everfading - intricate solos become riffs, and lyrics far beyond, diverse vocals.. really good IMHO. a must have

right now i can't remember anything else, but give your own thoughts about bands please

ebony tears' first record is quite good, and yes, sort of reminiscent of early dt in places. i suggest people give it a listen. also, some passages of a band called in thy dreams are very skydancer-like.

@onyx: the "bony tears" typo is just lovely.

lol... no really, some of the new stuff I've written reminds of old DT. You guys must look up to the upcoming album and freakin' buy it so you make me rich!

But anyway, I don't see much a resemblance when it doesn't have the DT Spirit there was in Skydancer, so I guess it would be pretty easy to name bands that "sound like" them now

Well Ebony Tears do have something with Tortura Insomnia.. something between At the Gates and Katatonia if you ask me... not enough technical skills to say they resemble old D.T. i guess.. but good nevertheless
