don't know/care what you mean by complex (such a horribly used word in metal discussions generally), ATG in their hayday were prob my favourite lyricists in metal though as i've prob said 1000 times on this board by now.

I can understand a lot of it, but Mikko's accent is hilariously bad.
I guess the OP might enjoy the lyrics of other bands like Katharsis and Funeral Mist, too.

Dude, DO are awesome, but man I can't understand the shit they say. I looked up the lyrics to some of their songs & all I saw then singing about was Satan. Typical black metal lyrical themes, although much more real & precise.

There are probably plenty of bands with lyrics so complex you wouldn't understand the meaning of any of it. I don't consider that a good thing.
If you want intelligent lyrics, however... Not too sure. Occasionally Dream Theater, I guess. One of my favourite lyricists is Devin Townsend, but a lot of his stuff appears to be gibberish, it's just gibberish I'm very fond of. I also like early Machinae Supremacy lyrics, but I dunno about complexity and such, it's just well written punk lyrics, mostly.

they must be on some kinda drugs that haven't been invented yet
there's not even any two of their words put together that make any sense to me
sometimes i think they are just making up random shit because they don't seem like very intelligent people in interviews and junk
