bands YOU think joey should produce!

genghis tron ...would be super sick!

another thought: i want to hear the "let's get it!" FULL LENGTH!

I think he should produce my bands album hahahaha

but seriously I wouldn't mind hearing a more euro styled band in the vein of like Soilwork. Not saying Soilwork specifically, but something like that.

August Burns Red, sounds awesome already I think, they are more straight up without all the bass boost, reverse snare stuff. I would like to hear Sturgis take on that project, but....ABR is amazing just alone with guitar, bass, drums and screams IMO.

They do have bass hits in their songs though. Mostly it's just a short hit or two short hits in a row.

But a band that would be interesting to hear coming from Joey.. umm.. Someone said Attila already and I think that would be kinda good setup. Attila is not the traditional sturgiscore-style band and needs a bit different sound. So that might be interesting.

Though joey did a good job on that 80's tone with Asking Alexandria's EP. So he has more than just one style.

oh, but joey is doing the new attila record.

I think it would be cool to see what joey would do the A day to remember. i feel like theyre sound is a bit too "clean cut" at times and could use some sturgis

well apparently joey is straying away from pod/slate from what ive read. like on the new emmure album, i read it was real amps with no slate, just samples recorded from the sessions. so i feel like if he applies those ideas to BTBAM, it would be magical.

but i would definitely like to hear the Acacia Strain, Legend and August Burns Red get in on some work with joey as well, as much as TAS would probably be against that.

Uh, emmure is slate kick and snare and pod guitars (own toms tho).. if im not mistaken.

The Skid Row covers had WAYYYYYYYYYYY too much bass. I don't what he was thinking lol.
And Attila IS recording with Sturgis starting April 15rh ;)

Yeah they do have quite a lot bass. But I don't mind since I'm not really into that style. Just nice to hear the vocalists voice in them (didn't remember his name) :D Sweet, so Attila is with Sturgis. Their latest album had nice production though. But Soundtrack to a party was kinda poor produced imo. Some nice songs but production sucked.

I just hope Attila doesn't change too much musicvise. They're still original and I like it.

Seriously needs to do Vanisher (Kyle's band, as stated above)

I would love a new Take It Back! Album.
Some others would be Zao, Demon Hunter, Defiler, and some really different genre stuff like Lydia and My American Heart (if either band was still around). And then bands like The Chariot, Norma Jean.
I would be down on Woe, Is Me and other Chango bands just so I don't have to listen to a Chango mix (but at least Joey masters so there is some hope)

Eh, I don't think the mix in Number was bad except for the electronic/glitchy parts. But yeah, I'd like to see Joey doing Woe, Is Me too.

Thy art is murder

In all seriousness we've sent an inquiry to his management and received no reply. Perhaps Joey could fill me in here or via pm if the booking details on his myspace are out of date by now or if I have the wrong contact.
