A "preview edition" of base.ad is also being distributed throughout London this week. It features a Perth Live section, plus all of our current genre pages (including Barbed Wire) and although their local content will mainly be focused on the London/UK scene it will provide Australian bands with an avenue to some promotion abroad. Obviously, I can't always push Aussie acts as they will be competing for space on an international level but I will endeavour to promote them as regularly as possible. Anyway, here it is ...

We are always on the look out for the latest news and info from bands, labels and promoters throughout the east and west coast so if you have press releases, gig details (WA only) or anything related to Ausssie metal then please feel free to submit the information for inclusion in the up-coming issues (barbedwire@base.ad). The deadline is 5PM Wednesdays.

base.ad is a new Western Australian entertainment street press focused on the music scene in Perth. Covering all styles from dance to metal with dedicated genre pages, we aim to provide you with the current happenings of your favourite local and international acts, as well as introduce you to new ones.
