Hey guys - sorry for the posting of an obvious topic! Wanted to get some current up to date opinions.
Basically, our bassist has an amp. I've sorted him out with my old Carlsbro 60's PA valve amp. Sounds fantastic! But he now needs a cab, and doesn't know what to get. So I said I'd canvass for some opinions.
So what would your cab choice be, given you're limited to a 4x10 cab??? Something within the price range of £200 - £500 would be ideal. Could probably go a bit more than that, but he's looking for the best band for his buck.
His instinct is to get an Ampeg. I've mentioned Hartke, Eden, and Markbass. There has also been a Peavey recommendation before too.
