Bass enhancer utility?

Hey. There are some utilities to enhance guitars in songs, I suppose it's got to do with EQ .. like "voice removal" plugin for winamp, it's great to remove everything except guitars, so it's very easy to figure the guitars out

So, is there some kind of similar tool that enhances the bass guitar so it's easier to figure it out, since it's very well covered in guitars sometimes.. you know what I mean.

Ive seen bass effects procesors and stomp boxes, the effects processor i saw had things like bass distortion, wahs and compresors pitch shifters harmonizer and fretless bass simulation, along with a good selection of bass amp emulators.

Oh, I really didn't explain what I meant. I meant, taking a track from a CD and then enhance the bass line so you can figure it out easier and learn how to play it.
