neither are my of music choice but id have to say Emperor really just makes me go Whoa Thats Unreal.

I'm a sucker for fast, insanely melodic shit...so the choice is obvious--Emperor. There's nothing really I feel I have to listen to Dark Tranquility for...they have a sort of special blend to their stuff, but there's nothing they do that I couldn't get from another band, and most likely better. And christ...Stanne sucks at clean vocals. Either that, or he needs to stop trying to sing with jumbo marshmallows in his mouth.
