Beginners Recording and mixing lessons
Ive had two years of experience teaching and have developed certain methods and techniques to help my students not just learn effective ways of high quality recording in home conditions and also discover their own ones, based on their musical influences and ideas. I believe that a high quality recording is a key to success for a talented musician but unfortunately not so many people can afford it and local studios record everything as it is without giving enough attention to bits and pieces. This year Im deciding to move to a more professional level but as a young enthusiastic engineer, I still enjoy giving lessons and helping others reach their potential as recording in home conditions is something I have spent years on.
These lessons will include me teaching the student about:
Microphone placement techniques
Acoustics
Mixing
High quality recordings in home conditions
Give advice on creating a high quality home studio on a budget
Music theory knowledge required for a sound engineer
As I know people who are interested can dont necessarily live in the same location and I advertise myself abroad too, I prefer to teach on Skype.
My lessons are £8/45 minutes
Payments are made after each lesson via PayPal, other methods of payment are discussable.
