Hell yeah!!! Jan. 30th, you know where to find me!

I'm very stoked for this show. Never thought I'd get the chance to see Shining. Kvarforth is a very interesting character.
Behemoth always slays live.

Yeah I can definitely see Shining having some visa stuff going on...

Yes, I think Kvarforth is actually locked up as we speak... Awesome band though. Halmstad and Eerie Cold are two of my favorite black metal discs ever. The drums on especially Halmstad are out of this world.

The facts that I actually hail from Halmstad doesn't hurt either

Definitely looking forward to this. I missed them the last couple times they came around.

Hopefully, these guys have their visa issues worked out in advance.

They did the Rockstar Mayhem tour this Summer so the visa situation for Behemoth is fine. Visas for bands usually last a year at the minimum I believe.

I have NO idea how Shining is going to get into the US though lol.

Nah he's not in prison right now. They just did a European tour with Satyricon, and their (fantastic!) new album just came out a month or two ago.

But I completely agree -- their past two are some of the best black metal albums to come out in recent year. Such a great band.

It depends on who petitions on behalf of the band and the circumstances. I would agree that this is most common because most regular touring bands use Traffic Control Group out of NYC and that is their standard MO in conjuction with the booking agents and labels.

However, the bands I file for myself only get two weeks around my date. I will not be responsible for them anytime else as the petitioner of record.

So what happens when they have a tour around ProgPower? I assume that if it's a band like Sonata or Helloween the label gets the visas for them instead?
