Edit: Nevermind, this was honestly really terrible and fake sounding. It was better than FL Slayer, but that's not saying much. =P After this I've definitely learned what metal should sound like, and that trying to sequence "realistic" metal using only virtual instruments will sound off if done poorly.
 
Haha the sound of the instruments on this are awful :D

I think the mix is ok in that all instruments are audible but it's laughable to make something like this and get critical feedback on how to mix metal.

Eh, going to have to agree. I work well with synthy sounds, but I don't have much experience with making sampled instruments sound good/realistic I'm afraid. :u-huh:

I appreciate the honest comments. I could try making the instruments sound less awful, but still, working with real instruments would be better. I'm leaving the link up, at least it's an example of how to not do a metal cover. :p
